Transit Visa Package For Kuwait
If you’re visiting Kuwait and in a need for a Kuwait transit visa, then you can obtain it from the port authority in Kuwait or from its coounsulteaboard. You have 7 days maximum to put that visa in use or else it will expire and you’ll have to get a new one.
Kuwait transit visa
It is only necessary to obtain a Kuwait transit visa if you are transiting through Kuwait and are spending more than 24 hours there, or if you are staying for under 24 hours and want to leave the airport.
A transit visa for Kuwait is valid for a maximum stay of seven days. They can be obtained from a Kuwait Consulteabroad or from a Port Authority. Applicants must be able to show proof of onward travel (travel ticket and/or visa for the next destination). The fee for a Kuwait transit is KD2.
It is only recommended to consider leaving the airport if your transit is longer than four hours. There are things to do at the airport such as lounges, shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Who needs a Kuwait Transit Visa?
Citizens from Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (nationals of GCC Countries) can enter Kuwait visa-free and therefore do not need a Kuwait transit Visa. They can also enter the country without a passport (using a national ID card).
Other nationalities who are transiting through Kuwait need a transit visa if they are staying for longer than 24 hours or if they wish to leave the airport during their transit.
What if I need to stay in Kuwait for longer than seven days?
A Kuwait Transit Visa is only valid for seven days. If you need or want to stay longer than this duration you can obtain one of the following types of Kuwait visas:
The Kuwait eVisa allows you to enter Kuwait for touristic purposes. Citizens from eligible countries can complete an online application in just a few minutes.
The eVisa application requires applicants to answer a series of questions and enter some basic information such as as their passport details and travel plans. It takes one to three business days to process an application.

Kuwait visa on arrival
The visa on arrival can be obtained after visitors land at an airport. They cannot be obtained when travelers enter by land or sea. The visas are valid for stays of up to three months.
The eligible nationalities for the visa on arrival are the same as the eVisa.
Kuwait visit visa
A Kuwait visa must be obtained in advance and it must be sponsored by a Kuwait company or a relative. They are obtainable from a Kuwaiti embassy and normally take two business days to process. Hotels can also arrange visit visas though this normally takes around seven days to process.
You may also apply for a Kuwait Online Visa via an online application. Eligible applicants need to complete the form with your personal information and valid travel document, or passport information. Once issued, the Kuwait Online visa is valid for 90 days.
In order to obtain the transit visa, you have to possess a valid visa for the next country to visit and a confirmed onward ticket if you don’t work on an airline or a ship. And in case you’re an international truck driver, you will be able to obtain multiple kuwait transit visa.
