The Beautiful And Romantic Islands of Koh Yao in Thailand Lying halfway between Phuket and Krabi, the two islands namely Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai comprise the Koh Yao Islands with Noi being the more developed than Yai. With a mountainous core surrounded by spectacular beaches, Noi offers excellent diving, kayaking, snorkelling and rock-climbing opportunities. Hire a scooter to enjoy the scenic rides or laze around on the serene white beaches. No raging parties, low-key traffic, slow-paced development to preserve nature and unspoilt beaches backed by lush mangrove forests provide a perfect foil for honeymoons in Noi. Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai are a pair of large islands in the middle of Phang Nga Bay, equidistant to Phuket and the Krabi mainland. While the pace of development is accelerating on Koh Yao Noi in particular, the islands remain a quiet refuge that feels far removed from the crowds of Phuket. In 2002, Koh Yao Noi gained worldwide attention after receiving the World Legacy Award for Destination Stewardship from Conservation International and National Geographic Traveler magazine for the eco-friendly homestay programs offered by its local residents. Other activities available on the island include agricultural demonstrations (rubber and fishing), kayaking, hiking, snorkelling and swimming. Neither of the islands have banking facilities, but Internet service, restaurants and some shops can be found on Yao Noi, including a brand new 7-Eleven with a very powerful air-con, a good chance to cool down and get some sugary drinks and ice creams. So if you plan to stay over, remember to withdraw some cash money before you go, even though there are few opportunities to spend it! Note that the islanders are keen to preserve their traditional ways, so it’s important to respect the local culture by dressing modestly and refraining from drinking alcohol outside of the restaurants/resorts catering to visitors. Beautiful Little Sandy And Romantic Place of Kata Noi Beach in Thailand Kata Noi Beach is a beautiful little sandy bay if you want to be near the lively Kata Beach while staying away from the usual tourist herds. This nice wide strand of white sand has incredibly clear blue waters during the high season and fortunately, its ‘out of the way’ location kept it relatively quiet. Unless you know about it, you probably would miss it. Except the beach itself and two resorts, not much is going on around Kata Noi Beach, the usual tailor, convenience store, massage and few bars seem to be waiting for the hotel’s guests. The romantic aura of Kata Noi makes it an ideal place for honeymooners looking for some quiet time, relaxing on soft sand while nature adds sweetness to their romance with a magical horizon in front of them. If your partner is game for it, you can even try snorkelling and surfing here. The northern end of the beach is also a popular spot among surfers who occasionally get some decent waves for learning and practicing. When low season arrives, the bay gets rougher and surfing is more challenging. The whole Kata Noi Beach front is occupied by the Katathani Beach Resort and all rooms happen to face the beach… very popular and first rooms are affordable. If you want to treat yourself to something luxurious you can try ‘The Shore‘, their beautiful new wing, all featuring pool villas. Real Gulf of Thailand- Koh Nang Yuan Three little pristine plot of lands connected by a massive sand strip, this straight-out-of-a fairy-tale scene is what Koh Nang Yuan is. Arrive early or stay late at the beach to steal some romantic moments. With excellent snorkelling spots in amazing coral reefs, a breathtaking viewpoint and the world’s first inter-island ziplining, this gem of an island is perfect for a day-trip. Koh Nang Yuan is one of the smallest islands in the southern half of the Gulf of Thailand merely more than a wafer thin beach connecting a large and small rock outcrops. The beach and setting are beautiful but the real draw for visitors is what lies below the water level. The small island of Koh Nang Yuan has possibly the most abundant coral based marine life found in the region. The island is rightfully popular with divers and shallow water snorkelling. it lies of the north western edge of Koh Tao but the only access is via long boat or much larger passenger ferry which brings in the day trippers from the surrounding islands. The thin beach though very narrow can handle the numbers of visitors and most of the larger groups of day trippers only stay for a couple of hours. As an act to protect the tranquillity of the island plastic bottles have been banned and there is a 100THB access fee to the island. This fee is covered by the organised tours and it is very dubious if the money is spent on the ecosystem. Koh Nang Yuan Island Entranc How to reach: speed boat, Lomprayah catamaran or longtails from the west side of Koh Tao Fees: entrance fee to the island is 100 TBH Amenities: one resort, restaurant and beach bar Location: Central Gulf Coast of Southern Thailand Any Other Specialty: no use of plastics permitted Click Here : – Real Gulf of Thailand- Koh Nang Yuan

The island and its vicinity are great places for snorkeling, diving and jungle hiking. The “discovery” of the island as a tourist destination since 2000 has brought on a large amount of rapid development, and while still far quieter than places like Phuket or Ko Samui, it is far from quiet in high season. Regarding services and activities specifically aimed at tourists prices have reached such a level that the islanders are pricing themselves out of the market when compared to the other islands. Quiet & Serene of Koh Mak in Thailand This heaven of an island has been Thailand’s best-kept secret for many decades and is still very raw and undiscovered with modern-development impaired ecotourism prevalent on the island. A manifestation of calm and serenity, the island has two main beaches, Suan Yai and Ao Kao and a red sand beach, the Ao Pai. Tracing their roots to a Siam government official of Chinese descent who purchased the whole island in the late 19th century, native islanders resisted the urge to sell off land to outside developers back when Ko Chang really caught on as a tourist destination in the 1990s and 2000s. Their patience resulted in a balance between low-level tourism and more traditional ways of life. Contrasting the mountainous jungle of Ko Chang and Ko Kut, Mak’s 15-square-kilometre interior mostly consists of rubber and coconut groves between pockets of tourism-related development. With clear water (when calm) lapping up to soft sand that strikes shades of ocher, pink and amber, the beaches are good, although not as attractive as those found on Ko Kut. Nearly invisible sand flies can be a real nuisance at certain times and places on Mak—check with locals before you sprawl out for a nap. We do think Mak beats Kut when it comes to activities and ease of getting around, and the overall vibe seems friendlier to us. Visitors in need of a break from the water could try out Thai recipes at Smile Koh Mak Cooking School; learn to gracefully pummel people at Hong Thong Muay Thai Camp; ease into the flow at Island Yoga; or join a rousing round at Koh Mak Disc Golf by Pom. Sealed roads with few hills make Mak a great place for cycling as well. Click Here : – Quiet & Serene of Koh Mak in Thailand

Most Romantic White Sand Beaches- Koh Tao in Thailand Koh Tao or Turtle Island forms a part of the Chumphon Archipelago and has some of the best beaches in Thailand for honeymoon. Long romantic strolls with your spouse on soft, white sand beaches in beautiful contrast to the sparkling blue sea, Koh Tao scenes are the stuff of dreams. While spectacular beaches like Mae Haad, Koh Nang Yuan, Freedom Beach, Jansom Bay and many more provide adventurous opportunities, views from these viewpoints like Two View, Fraggle Rock and Jon Suwan Mountain Viewpoint add a different charm altogether. The baby of the Samui–Pha-Ngan–Tao trio, Ko Tao may still be the smallest in size but in many other ways it’s all grown up. The island is consistently gaining in popularity and going more upscale, but for now this jungle-topped cutie has the busy vibe of Samui mixed with the laid-back nature of Pha-Ngan. But Tao also has its wild card, something the others don’t: easy-to-get-to, diverse diving right off its shores. Cavort with sharks and rays in a playground of tangled neon coral, toast the day with sunset cocktails on a white beach, then get up and do it all over again. But even though the island is synonymous with diving, there is much more to the place. Hikers and hermits can re-enact an episode from Lost in the dripping coastal jungles. And when you’re Robinson Crusoe-ed out, hit the pumpin’ bar scene that rages on until dawn. Beautiful Waterfalls of Kanchanaburi in Thailand Being dominated by the beautiful River Kwai Valleys in the northwest area, Kanchanaburi is a place of tremendous natural splendour with a large number of waterfalls, caves, lakes and mountainous views. The Erawan Waterfalls in the Erawan National Park, the Sai Yok Noi Falls, the Sai Yok Yai Falls and the Huay Mae Khamin falls are a must visit among the many others present in Kanchanaburi. The entire length of the seven tiers span approximately 1,500 m through the thick rainforest of the park. Each of the steps has its own name. The access to the first waterfall – named Hlai Keun Lung, is relatively easy, as you can get there on a flat trail, directly from the visitor centre’s car park. The highlight of this first waterfall is the great number of fish swimming in the ponds formed by the smooth limestone sculpted by the water. The fish are rather curious and will swim around your legs. It can be disconcerting at first but you soon get used to it. The trail gets steeper as it carries on to the next tier, Wung Macha, which is usually busier with swimmers. It’s very scenic as there’s a small cave under the falls. Another hike of about 50 m takes you to the third tier, called Pha Nam Tok. This tier is taller than the two first falls (about 20-metre high), and offers a large pond, again filled with fish, at which you can refresh yourself. Oke Nank Phee Seah and Bua Mai Long are the fourth and fifth steps of Erawan Waterfall. They feature small cascades and ponds surrounded by rock formations and dense vegetation. How to reach: by bus, train or car from Bangkok or direct bus from Pattaya Location: located at the confluence of the rivers Kwai Noi and Kwai Yai Nearby Attractions: Bridge over the River Kwai Yai, Hellfire Pass, other WWII memorials, museums, art galleries and temples Click Here :- Beautiful Waterfalls of Kanchanaburi in Thailand
